- Q: How do I remove the throttle body for Cadillac Seville,DeVille and DTS?A: To remove the throttle body, start by disconnecting the Mass Air Flow (MAF)/Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor electrical connector and removing the intake duct and upper part of the air cleaner housing. Detach the fuel feed and return lines from the retainer on top of the accelerator cable bracket and remove the transaxle shift cable clip from the accelerator cable bracket. Finally, remove the three bolts securing the throttle body to the coolant crossover housing, discard the old throttle body gasket, and remove the accelerator cable bracket bolts before removing the cable bracket from the throttle body. The installation is the reverse of the removal.
