How to remove and install the ignition coil units on Toyota Matrix and Pontiac Vibe?

Remove the engine cover. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the coil(s), then remove the mounting bolt(s). Carefully withdraw each coil from the valve cover. Installation is the reverse of removal. Note: Toyota does not publish primary or secondary resistance specifications for the ignition coil units used on these models.
