How to remove and install an alternator?

First, to remove the alternator, disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal. Next, you can remove the air intake duct, and the accessory drive belt, and detach the electrical connectors from the alternator. The installation is the reverse of removal. For V6 Models, follow similar removal steps and pull the alternator from the engine to detach the electrical connectors and remove the alternator. Installation is the reverse of removal.
