A: Begin by unscrewing the drive axle/hub nut and the wheel lug nuts to remove it. Thereafter, lift up the automobile and put it firmly on supports or jacks. After pulling out the wheel, mark down precisely where the strut is in relation to the steering knuckle. Slightly loosen without actually removing them from their positions, those bolts which connect a strut to a steering knuckle. If necessary, unfasten Tie Rod End from steering knuckle arm and take off hub and bearing assembly. Separate Ball Joint from steering knuckle then force drive axle out of hub using a piece of wire for support at one end. Lastly, split strut from steering knuckle. When installing a drive axle/hub guide the knuckle and hub assembly into position so that you can insert drive axle through it. Pushdown flange of strut onto knuckle while loosely installing bolts with nuts not tightened yet. Finally fasten nut on ball joint to steering knuckle well while fitting new pin in place then attach tie rod end back to arm of steering knuckle as well as tightening all cotter pins with new ones on strut bolt nuts, ball joint control arm bolt and nuts plus tie rod nut. Put brake disc upon hub next install caliper as well as wheel speed sensor before placing another new drive axle/hub nut tightly in position.Install wheels and lug nuts lastly lower vehicle after tightening lug nuts only then tighten drive axle/hub nut to specified torque.
