Pass the cable and grommet through the hole in the cowl into the fender opening, then remove the cowl cover and the antenna mast base mounting bolts. Pull out the base and its cable. Attach the new cable to the fish wire and carefully pull it back into the body, routing it as the original cable had been. If the extension cable needs to be replaced, remove the glove compartment and passenger's airbag module, release the cable from the clips along the top of the instrument panel, and disconnect it from the radio and antenna base cable. To install, simply reverse the removal procedure.
