To remove and install the front A/C switch, start by disconnecting the cable from the negative terminal of the battery. Then, remove the console and the accessory trim plate. Next, remove the A/C switch assembly retaining screws and depress the tabs to pull the unit from the dash. Use a small screwdriver to release the clips and disconnect the electrical connections and control cables if necessary. To install the A/C switch assembly, reverse the removal procedure and perform a module recalibration. For the rear auxiliary A/C switch, use a small screwdriver to pry out the rear control panel(s). Pull the control head downward from the center console, disconnect the electrical connections, and remove it from the vehicle. Use a small screwdriver to release the clips. To install the A/C switch assembly, reverse the removal procedure and ensure that the control head snaps securely into place on the center console. Finally, perform a module recalibration.
