- A:First, relieve the fuel system pressure. - Disconnect the electrical connector from the MAF sensor. - Loosen the clamp and detach the duct from the air filter housing. - Remove the air filter housing cover and filter element. - Remove the hood release cable mounting clip. - Disconnect the fuel supply line from the fuel rail and the EVAP line from the purge solenoid. - Release the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) from the bracket and position it away from the air filter housing. - Finally, remove the air filter housing mounting fastener and lift off the housing.Posted by GMPartsGiant Specialist

- A:To remove the air intake duct, start by disconnecting the PCV fresh air hose from the valve cover. Then, loosen the clamps at the air filter box and the throttle body and lift off the duct. To remove the air filter box, first relieve the fuel system pressure and disconnect the electrical connector from the MAF sensor. Loosen the clamp and detach the duct from the air filter box. Remove the air filter box cover and filter element, as well as the hood release cable mounting clip. Disconnect the fuel supply line from the fuel rail and the EVAP line from the purge solenoid. Release the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) from the bracket and position it away from the air filter box. Finally, remove the air filter box mounting fastener and lift off the box.
