- A:Disconnect the negative battery cable and drain the cooling system. Remove the Radiator Fan mounting bolt and disconnect the electrical harness from the fan. Remove the radiator inlet hose from the radiator and the radiator mounting bolt. On some models, you may need to pull the windshield washer fluid bottle fill tube from the bottle. Remove the vacuum tank, then the bracket if needed. Remove the radiator fan by sliding fan leg into area left from the vacuum tank. To install, install the radiator fan assembly and the vacuum tank bracket. Secure the vacuum tank and attach the windshield washer fluid bottle fill tube, if removed. Install the radiator mounting bolt and connect the radiator inlet hose to the radiator. Connect the electrical harness to radiator fan and install the radiator fan mounting bolt.
