When functioning properly, an audible click can be heard during its operation. If one side of the vehicle's turn signal indicator flashes rapidly, a faulty turn signal bulb is likely the issue. If both turn signals fail to blink, it could be due to a blown fuse, faulty flasher unit, broken switch, or loose/open connection. The flasher unit used on these models has complex internal circuitry and cannot be tested with standard electrical test equipment. To remove the flasher, the left insulator panel must be removed from the instrument panel, and the flasher can then be pulled out of the wiring harness.
