- A:In 2008 and earlier models, you should remove the engine top cover, air outlet tube from the air filter housing, PCV tube from the air filter inlet, and disconnect the electrical connectors to the intake manifold tuning valve, throttle body, and Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor. Also, disconnect the brake booster vacuum hose, wiring from the throttle body, PCV tube from the intake manifold, and the quick-connect fitting at the tube from the EVAP canister purge solenoid.
