Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal. Open the liftgate and remove the spare tire cover and the left-side trim panel. Disconnect the electrical connector from the Fuel Pump Driver Module (FPDM). Remove the FPDM mounting nuts and remove the module. Installation is the reverse of removal.

To remove the 2015 and earlier model Fuel Pump Driver Module (FPDM), start by disconnecting the cable from the negative terminal of the battery. Then, remove the right-side trim panel in the trunk and disconnect the electrical connector from the FPDM. Next, remove the FPDM retaining bolts and detach the module from its mounting bracket. For installation, simply reverse the removal steps. For the 2016 and later models, begin by disconnecting the cable from the negative terminal of the battery and raising and supporting the rear of the vehicle on jackstands. Remove the fuel tank undercover and locate the FPDM above the rear of the tank. Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the FPDM retaining bolts to detach the module from the vehicle. To install, follow the reverse of the removal steps.
