- A:To remove the Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor on 2.0L supercharged models, start by turning the ignition key to OFF. Then, disconnect the electrical connector from the sensor located near the ECT, below it, and behind the snout of the supercharger drive. Next, remove the Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor mounting bolt and twist the sensor while withdrawing it. For 2.2L and 2.4L models, also turn the ignition key to OFF and disconnect the electrical connector from the sensor. Remove the Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor from the air intake duct and inspect the rubber insulator grommet for any damage. If it is cracked, torn, or deteriorated, replace it.
