- A:To remove the radio, start by disconnecting the cable from the negative battery terminal. Then, remove the center trim panel and the radio mounting screws. Pull the radio from the instrument panel and disconnect the electrical connectors and antenna cable from the back of the radio. For installation, simply reverse the removal steps. To remove the lower door speaker, remove the door trim panel and the speaker mounting screws. Pull the speaker from the door and disconnect the electrical connector. Installation is the reverse of removal. To remove the upper front door speaker, lift the speaker to slide the lower tabs out of the door panel. Disconnect the electrical connector and twist the speaker to remove it from the panel. Installation is the reverse of removal. For the rear speaker, remove the carpet retaining trim piece, pillar trim, rear upper trim molding, rear floor storage bin, and cargo hooks. Pull out the quarter trim panel to disengage its retaining clips. Remove the speaker mounting screws, speaker, and disconnect the electrical connector.
