Drain the cooling system.Drain the engine oil. 1.5L enginesRemove the air conditioning compressor without disconnecting the refrigerant lines, then secure the compressor out of the way.Remove the air conditioning compressor bracket bolts and bracket.Disconnect the turbocharger oil feed pipe from the engine block.Remove the engine oil cooler mounting bolts, then remove the cooler and gaskets.Install a new gasket and the oil cooler to the engine, then install the mounting bolts and tighten the bolts to the torque listed in Specifications. Caution: Discard the old gasket. If reused, leaks may occur.Installation is the reverse of removal.Fill the engine with the proper engine oil and the cooling system with the proper mixture of antifreeze and water. 2.0L enginesRemove the catalytic converter.Remove the oil pump flow control valve heat shield fasteners and shield.Squeeze the hose clamps and slide them back on the hoses, then detach the oil cooler hoses from the oil cooler pipes.Once the oil cooler hoses are disconnected, remove the oil cooler hose retaining bracket fastener.Remove the oil cooler pipe center fastener and unscrew the pipe from the engine, then lower the oil cooler down from the engine.Remove the oil cooler 0-ring seal and clean the sealing surfaces of the oil cooler.Install a new 0-ring seal into the groove in the oil cooler then install the oil cooler and tighten the oil cooler center pipe to the specific torque.Remaining installation is the reverse of removal.Fill the engine with the proper engine oil and the cooling system with the proper mixture of antifreeze and water.
