- A:Remove the cowl cross-tower brace. Cut the rubber insulator at the guidelines and remove the metal patch plate beneath. Remove the blower motor electrical connector, cooling hose, and mounting screws. Disengage the blower motor from the case. Install the blower motor fan assembly. Connect the blower motor electrical connector, cooling hose, and mounting screws. Install the patch plate and the seal insulator patch. Replace the cowl cross-tower brace.
