- A:Detach the cable from the negative terminal of the battery. Disconnect the electrical connector to the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor. Remove the clamps that retain the air intake assembly to the throttle body. Lift the air filter box, air intake ducts, and resonator chamber from the engine compartment as a complete assembly.
