The exhaust system consists of the exhaust manifolds, catalytic converters, muffler, resonators, the tailpipe and all connecting pipes, brackets, hangers and clamps. Apply penetrating oil to the exhaust system component fasteners to make them easier to remove. Use new gaskets, hangers and clamps when installing exhaust systems components. Apply anti-seize compound to the threads of all exhaust system fasteners during reassembly.
