- A:To remove the AIR vacuum control solenoid valve, you need to loosen the right-front wheel lug nuts, raise the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands, then remove the right-front wheel. Remove the access panel from the inner fender splash shield. Mark the vacuum lines to the solenoid, then disconnect the lines and electrical connector from the solenoid valve. Remove the solenoid mounting nut and solenoid. Installation is the reverse of removal.Posted by GMPartsGiant Specialist
