On 2010 and earlier models, remove the sensor retaining clip. On the same models, pinch the tabs together and slide the fuel level sensor off the fuel pump module. Also, check the routing of the wiring for installation. On 2011 and later models, remove the fuel level sensor unit from the fuel pump module.
