- Q:How do you remove the brake disc for the 2015 Chevrolet Equinox? Posted by Customer
- A:For removal, remove the caliper mounting bracket, cleaning the bolt threads and holes and applying new thread-locking compound during installation. Mark the disc in relation to the hub, remove the bolt securing the disc to the hub flange, and use a mallet if necessary to loosen the disc. Clean the hub flange and inside of the brake disc, removing any rust or corrosion, and then securely tighten the retaining bolt when installing the disc onto the hub assembly.Posted by GMPartsGiant Specialist
