If adjustment is needed, follow these steps:(a) Remove the right wiper arm.(b) Open the small door to access the wiper linkage.(c) Loosen, but don't remove, the transmission linkage adjustment nuts.(d) Rotate the left arm and blade assembly just below the blade stops.(e) For 1990 vehicles, tighten the transmission adjustment screws to 64 inch lbs.(f) For 1991 vehicles, tighten the transmission linkage adjustment nuts to 44 inch lbs.(g) For 1992-up vehicles, tighten the transmission linkage adjustment nuts to 71 inch lbs.(h) Position the right wiper arm and blade assembly below the blade stops and install the arm onto the transmission shaft.(i) Lift both arm and blade assemblies over the stops.(j) Check the wiper pattern and park position with the windshield wet and wipers operating at low speed.
