- A:Start by loosening the lug nuts on the front wheels, but don't remove them completely. Then, raise the front of the vehicle and secure it on jackstands. Remove the front wheels. Disconnect the brake line from the caliper and plug it to prevent contaminants from entering the brake system and to minimize brake fluid loss. For calipers without Brembo, remove the caliper guide pin bolts and detach the caliper from its mounting bracket. For models with Brembo calipers, remove the two caliper mounting bolts and detach the caliper from the steering knuckle. To install the caliper, reverse the removal procedure, ensuring to replace the copper sealing washers on the brake line fitting. Tighten the caliper guide pin bolts and brake line banjo fitting bolt to the specified torque.
