Next, remove the drivebelt and intake manifold cover, followed by the power steering pump pulley. On 2007 and later models, additional components such as the horizontal engine mount strut, drivebelt idler pulley, and air cleaner assembly may need to be removed. Once these steps are complete, raise the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands, and remove the right front wheel. Disconnect the return hose and pressure line fitting from the power steering pump using a flare-nut wrench. Finally, remove the mounting bolts securing the pump to the mounting bracket and remove the pump. To install the power steering pump, simply reverse the removal steps, ensuring that the mounting bolts are tightened to the proper torque specifications and the line fitting is securely tightened. Don't forget to install the drivebelt and fill the power steering reservoir with the recommended fluid, and then bleed the power steering hydraulic system.
