  Q: How do you remove the Brake Pad?

  A: To take apart the brake assembly, first remove the cap from the brake fluid reservoir and drain off about two-thirds of the fluid. Next, loosen the front wheel lug nuts, lift up the front part of your car and secure it with jack stands. Inspect wheels and examine Brake Disc. Take away disc if lathing is needed. Proceed to disassemble inner and outer brake pads plus upper and lower pad retainers from caliper mounting bracket. Replace any cracked or distorted retainers. Apply anti-squeal compound at the back of both pads for setting before installing new brake assembly unit. Mount upper and lower pad retainers followed by inner and outer brake pads. Inspect caliper mounting bolt; use heat resistant breaking grease when lubricating it while replacing its sealing washers at inlet fitting of its braking hose. For reinstallation, tighten caliper mounting bolts as well as wheel lug nuts using specified torque values. Once done, depress the brake pedal several times until the linings contact with disc surface are made known through feel on stop pedal travel distance. Check that there is enough material in reservoir-Top up level if necessary. Finally try out brakes cautiously prior to putting vehicle back into operation mode again.
