How do you remove the window regulator?

To remove the window regulator, start by disconnecting the cable from the negative battery terminal on models with power components. Then, remove the door trim panel and water shield while ensuring the window glass is in the full-up position and secured with duct tape. Proceed to punch out the center pins of the rivets that hold the window regulator to the door frame and drill them out. For power window-equipped models, unplug the electrical connector. Finally, disengage the regulator from the window glass sash and lift it from the door. To install the new regulator, place it in position in the door and engage the guide channel assemblies. Secure it to the door using 3/16-inch rivets and a rivet tool. Plug in the electrical connector (if applicable) and install the door trim panel. Finally, reconnect the negative battery cable.
