- Q:I need a new gas tank for my 2007 Chevy Silverado new body style truck. I have a picture of the original tank that is still installed on the truck and it is about 30 gal. I would send a picture if there was a way but the part number on the tank is 15077504 for gas and 15077505 for diesel. My truck is a gas not diesel but I assume this same tank was used for both.
