  A: Periodic inspections should be performed on the windshield and rear wiper and blade assemblies to check for damage, loose parts, or cracked or worn blade elements. The wiper blades must be regularly cleaned using a mild detergent solution because road film may build up on them and affect their efficiency. The bolts, nuts, and fasteners can get loose as a result of the wiping mechanism activity that implies checking and tightening them when necessary in line with the inspection of wiper blades. When inserts (also known as wiper blade elements) are cracked, worn out or warped, they should be substituted. Pushing on the blade while depressing the release lever will allow you to remove a windshield wiper. The rubber part of the blade is removed from it once it has been taken off of the vehicle.
