How do I remove the key lock cylinder and Ignition Switch?

To remove the ignition lock cylinder, disconnect the battery cable and remove the steering column covers. Insert the key into the cylinder and turn it to the RUN position. To remove the housing and switch, disconnect the battery cable and remove the covers, steering wheel, and switches. Detach electrical connectors from the switch. Remove the housing bolt and strap, then slide off the assembly. Finally, remove the switch from the housing. For installation, secure the switch in the housing and slide it onto the column. Install the strap and bolt.
