For new antenna installation, insert the cable lead into the wheel well of the fender and route it toward the radio so that it connects with its back. The screw is used to fix in place an antenna mast on a fender such as this one and to verify its operation. Next, take out the mast from its base and remove trimming part off antenna housing.
