The added cooling helps to control brake fade and excessive heat build up.During competitive driving, the front brake ducts work in conjunction with specific brake rotor shields to reduce front brake pad operating temperatures up to 20 deg. C (68 deg. F) and front brake rotor surface temperatures up to 60 deg. C (140 deg.
