How to Remove and Install a Resistor?

Disconnect the negative battery cable, unplug the electrical harness at the resistor, remove the resistor attaching screws, and remove the resistor from the evaporator case. To install, position the resistor in the evaporator case, install the attaching screws, engage the electrical harness, connect the negative battery cable and tighten the cable bolt to 11 ft. lbs. (15 Nm), and reset the radio, clock and any other applicable electronic devices.
