On all the models, the PCV valve or orifice must be installed on the PCV hose. On 2.8L, 3.2L, and 3.6L V6 engines the hoses are connected to the rear part of both valve covers, whereas on 3.0L V6 only to the right rear. Normally in 5.7 L V8 engines, the PCV hose is routed from the intake manifold to the right-rear valve cover gasket, while in 6.0 L V8 engines, the PCV hose is connected to the front centre portion of the valve cover. In 6.2L V8 engines, PCV hoses are fitted to the rear end of right valve cover, and forward end of right valve cover. To continue, the engine covers should be taken off; the PCV hose(s) should be taken off from the connections; and then the process is simply the reverse of that entails here.
