How to remove the oil pump on Cadillac ElDorado and Fleetwood?

Raise and safely support the vehicle securely. Remove the oil pan following the procedures outlined earlier. Remove the two screws and one nut securing the ump to the engine. To install, the installation is the reversal of the removal procedure. For 4.6L Engine, remove the front cover. Remove the three oil pump mounting bolts. Remove the pump and drive spacer. To install, the installation is the reversal of the removal procedure.
