How to replace the turn signal and hazard turn signal flasher on Cadillac Fleetwood?

The two types of flashing lights, turn signals, and hazard warning, sit right below the control panel on the steering column. Take off panels under the instrument panel that protect against noise before you can replace the flasher unit. Then, take out the flasher from its holding clip and disconnect the wiring connection. First, connect the wiring connector to the new flasher, slide the flasher into place, and put back the panels under the dashboard.
