On 1996 and later models, remove the oil filler tube. Detach the wire harness from the compressor. Unbolt the refrigerant hose manifold from the compressor and cap all the fittings. Unbolt the compressor and remove it from the vehicle. Installation is the reverse of removal. Have the system evacuated and recharged.
