To eliminate the outside handle on front doors, you have to turn the door trim panel and watershield, the next step is elimination of the door handle mounting nuts, elimination of the lock rod clips and taking out the handle. For side doors: take off the trim panel; disconnect the lock rod clips; undo the mounting nuts; detach the handle. On rear doors first remove the access cover by pulling it off and removing 4 screws then pull the clip off with a small screwdriver and disconnect the rods then pull out the mounting nuts and handle assembly. For installation, it is done in a sequence that is in an opposite to that of removal. For the inside handle of front doors, take off the door trim panel and the mounting bolts of the door handle then unlock the lock rod clip that is situated at the door handle and take out the rod and finally lower the handle assembly. If the inside handle is riveted to the door panel, removed the rivets then release the lock rods and remove the handle and replaced this with bolts nuts and lock washers. For side doors, you have to remove the door trim panel, then detach the rod at the handle; you then take out the mounting screws and remove the handle; the process of installation is quite the same, just in reverse.
