How to remove and reinstall the turn signal switch assembly on Chevrolet Beretta?

On the models that have the Delco Loe II or Theft lock audio system, first, make sure that the lockout is disabled before disconnecting the battery. Start with the removal of the cable of cable connected to the negative battery terminal. That must be followed by the removal of the steering wheel as well as the cancel cam assembly. Remove the hazard warning knob by unscrewing the knob and the screw that is fitted on it. The turn signal lever mounting screw has to be undone and so does the housing cover screw, then take off the turn signal arm and then housing away from the column together with the lever and the housing. It remain, however necessary to remove the plastic spacer in the lower left corner of the housing as it would be needed for the next step.
