For the inside mirror, the sensor cover clips can be released in order to pull the cover and its electrical connector out, while the mirror can be either removed or installed by unscrewing a Torx screw or a set screw at the base on the windshield. If the mount plate has been removed from the windshield there are adhesive kits available in auto parts stores for reattaching the mount plate and the procedure in the instructions should be followed.
