Loose the lug nuts, lift the car and put it on supporting jack stands before going ahead to remove the wheel. Then, there are steps that require the removal of the tie-rod end and the jam nut to be taken. The outer boot clamp can be unscrewed with the help of pliers since it is clipped on but the inner clamp has to be unbolted using diagonal cutters and later thrown away. Slide off the boot, then cover the threads and serrations at the end of the tie rod in the way that the small end of the new boot will not be damaged during the process of its installation. Rack And Pinion boot until it fits the groove of the tie-rod then tightening the clamps. Once the tape has been removed then the tie-rod end has to be fitted, then the wheel and the lug nuts are fitted. Last but not the least, turn the vehicle down and snug the lugs to the required torque.
