How to replace the windshield wiper motor on Chevrolet Corvette?

To change the windshield wiper motor, unscrew the nut on the-, then remove the negative terminal of the battery. The next steps require detachment of the cowl hood seal and wiper blade arms where the seal can be pulled out with some difficulty and the dust cap of the wiper arm can be usually removed to find the securing nut but in case the arm is fixed then a puller must be used. Finally remove the push pins which arrest the cowl, by putting pressure on the center of the pin and pulling it to remove the whole structure. Pull down and towards the rear of the car the cowl and separate the wiper wash hoses as well. Next, you have to remove bolts that hold wiper assembly to the car, then disconnect the electrical connection to the motor of the wiper assembly and then you can remove the whole assembly and the wiper together. Then remove the pointer linkage if equipped, then disconnected the correct linkage separator until the wiper assembly arm can be unscrewed from the wiper motor located on the top side of the vehicle; the crank arm is on the center shaft of the wiper motor can be removed by unscrewing the center shaft. Last but not the least, to release the wiper motor you will have to unbolt it, which is then detached from the wiper assembly and for the reassembly, the steps will be as follows while making sure that you set the park tab to the motor park latch.
