  A: Among other things, these models have a Body Control Module (BCM) which controls stuff like door locks, power windows, ignition lock and security system, interior lights, Daytime Running Lights system, Horn, windshield wipers, heating/air conditioning system, and power mirrors. The power door lock system works through switches, actuators and the BCM and can usually be diagnosed and repaired by checking wiring connections and actuators.
