To remove the CKP sensor, start by turning the ignition key to OFF. Then, raise the vehicle and secure it on jackstands. If you plan to reuse the old CKP sensor, make sure to remove the old O-ring and discard it. When installing the CKP sensor, always use a new O-ring and tighten the mounting bolt securely.
