  Q: How do you remove the steering wheel?

  A: Park the vehicle straight and disconnect the battery. Disable the airbag system and remove the airbag module using a thin tool. Disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the module. Detach the clockspring wire harness and disconnect the steering wheel switches connector. Note the steering wheel hub and shaft position. Remove the steering wheel nut and lift the wheel off the shaft, using a puller if needed. If necessary, remove the clockspring by removing the steering column covers, snap ring, and disconnecting the connectors. To install, ensure wheels are straight and shaft is at 12 o'clock. Center the clockspring, aligning the arrows. Reverse the removal process for installation, ensuring the clockspring is centered and the wheel is aligned with the shaft mark. Tighten the wheel nut, install the airbag module, and enable the airbag system.
