To remove the EVAP canister purge solenoid on a V6 model, start by removing the air intake duct and disconnecting the electrical connector and EVAP purge line quick-connect fitting from the solenoid. Then, remove the mounting nut and the solenoid itself. For a V8 model, follow the same steps but also cap both EVAP purge lines before disconnecting the inlet purge line quick-connect fitting. To remove the EVAP canister vent solenoid, disconnect the electrical connector and quick-connect fittings from the solenoid and remove it from its mounting bracket. To remove the EVAP canister, label and disconnect all EVAP hoses connected to it, remove the mounting nut, and remove the canister from its bracket.
