Also, remove heater outlet duct and heater core cover. Next step, remove heater core itself. If there is need to repair a heater core take it to professional radiator shop or dealer to get it fixed for you. All that is required is installing everything back as before and refilling the radiator with coolant upto a certain level and connecting the battery cable.
