Remove the cable retainer bolts and pull the cable through the firewall. For installation, reverse the removal process. Ensure the grommet seats properly in the firewall. Adjust the cable by ensuring the throttle fully opens when the pedal is depressed. If not, adjust the cable and tighten the locknuts. Ensure the throttle fully closes when the pedal is released.
