The new drivebelt should be fitted onto the pulleys, ensuring it is correctly seated in all grooves, and the tensioner should be released. For tensioner replacement, the drivebelt should be removed first, followed by the tensioner mounting bolt(s). The tensioner can then be lifted off and replaced, and the installation process is the reverse of removal.
