The first step is to loosen the rear wheel lug nuts and raise the rear of the vehicle on jackstands.

Loosen the subframe rear mounting bolts and slowly lower the floor jacks while backing out the rear bolts. Remove the bolts and detach the sway bar kit bushing retainer. Inspect and replace the bushings if necessary. Clean the bushing area of the sway bar kit with a wire brush and lubricate the new bushings with vegetable oil. For installation, reverse the removal steps and tighten the fasteners to the specified torque values. Raise the subframe using floor jacks and tighten the mounting bolts in the proper order. Finally, install the wheels and tighten the lug nuts to the specified torque.

It may be necessary to remove the stabilizer bar links and bushings from the lower control arm, depending on the specific vehicle.

Support the rear of the subframe with floor jacks. Remove the subframe rear reinforcement bolts, loosen the subframe front reinforcement bolts, and the subframe front and rear mounting bolts. Slowly lower the floor jacks while backing out the rear bolts, and remove the bolts.

To install the stabilizer bar, you should reverse the removal steps, ensuring the bar is centered, and tighten the fasteners to the proper torque values.
