Cadillac 15639063 Stabilizer Bar Bushing

Loosen the rear wheel lug nuts, raise the rear of the vehicle, and support it securely on jackstands while blocking the front wheels to prevent rolling. Remove the rear wheels, then take out the Sway Bar link-to-frame nuts and bolts. Next, remove the nuts from the lower ends of the links and separate the link from the bar. After that, remove the Sway Bar Kit clamp bolts from the axle housing and take out the Sway Bar Kit. For 3500 models, the right-rear shock absorber and the driveshaft must be removed to access the bar, although the links and Sway Bar Bushing can be replaced without removing the driveshaft. Inspect the Sway Bar Bushing and link bushings for any cracks, tears, or signs of deterioration, replacing them as necessary. Installation follows the reverse order of removal.
