    Q:
What is the removal process for the 1999 Chevrolet Blazer of Shock Absorbers? Posted by Terrance C.
    A:
The removal process for 4WD models starts by raising the vehicle and supporting it on jackstands. The lower shock mounting nut, washer, and bolt are then removed, with attention paid to the direction in which the bolt points. The shock absorber is collapsed and the upper shock mounting nut, washer, and bolt are removed, again noting the direction of the bolt. The shock absorber can then be removed.
